Wonder Weirdo asked:
A Christian Pilot would arguably be hazardous. Rapture and then plane crash. Perhaps they should also be prohibited from driving and operating heavy machinery. Financial institutions would have to revise their lending policies when dealing with Christians. Since there might be a rapture and they’re all whisked away, then the bank would be loosing money. I personally don’t think that there will be a rapture, but this is sound logic if you do. Of course, the Christians themselves would have to understand this logic. They can’t deny that it could be dangerous for a plane or car or forklift to suddenly be without an operator, and the banks have a right to protect themselves.

That’s like telling Black people to be slaves because they’re black, yo. I’m down with mah homies.
It was a good laugh, however.
Russell

Thanks I needed that!

Not all Christians believe in “the rapture” — in fact, most do not.
Denying people jobs and other things because of their religion is a human-rights violation. What you’re proposing belongs in a totalitarian state — not in the USA or any other civilized country.
.
Angel
not all christians believe in the rapture! just so ya knnow..
Alexander
Perhaps you should take your head out of your **** :).
Mildred
Good point! Freeing up 2 billion + people would really do wonders for the world.
Think of the time they could spend evangelising the rest of the world!!
THEN, it wouldn’t matter about the Rapture - because by that time Christians would have to be employed in ‘important’ jobs or nothing would ever be able to be done.
So when the Rapture comes - everyone on the plane goes with the pilot and the empty plane crashes on farms or citites emptied by the Rapture, too.
Brilliant!! Suggest it to your Congressman/MP!!!!
(Quick - before ‘He’ Returns!!!)

Perhaps these jobs should be given to illegal aliens as it would be a job no one wants.
Jackie
why don’t you get a Hobie instead of just criticising others who you don’t Evan know.
Peggy
Hey, nice pic and very apt nick!!
Merry Christmas!!!!.
Rodney
What r u upto.To create fourth reich or something like that.
Gilbert
There is no need to deny them. If they are true believers they would have the belief and the morals not to take these jobs on their own. If they do take them, the either don’t believe or aren’t moral. In the first case we don’t have to worry because they won’t want the job. In the latter case, becuase they won’t be disappearing on us.
Bruce
We have an important job. Talking to people about their Salvation. When Jesus comes, we’ll gladly give that job up.
Theresa
This world is going to end very soon. Shouldn’t we just relax enjoy life, stop going to work and wait for the end?
Florence
Wonder? OK to wonder. Weirdo? MOST DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paula
I find it quite funny that most of u (atheists) treat Christians like mental patients…yet Ur the ones obsessing over the end of the world and such. By the way ‘deny[ing]‘ anybody a job based on their beliefs is discrimination.
Lloyd
As long as they can keep their religious beliefs separate from their work, I don’t see a problem. After all we have a right to believe what we want. Even the Flying Spaghetti monster. It’s a slippery slope.
Brian
Yes. They also should not be in a position of power and responsibility in Government either.
Terry
yes thay are all gowing to be beamed up to the borg cube thay all need to be sacked and all the none beleavers to the jobs so when thay are gone the rest of the world can carry on without them

The teaching that there will be a rapture is totally un-supported by the Bible.
The word is not even IN the Bible.
The number that have a heavenly future are limited to 144,000 [ Rev. 7;4 & 14;1 ] and these ones are very special and have been chosen to assist Jesus in the judgement.
(1 Corinthians 15:51) Look! I tell YOU a sacred secret: We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed,
By saying ‘ not all’ this indicates that some will and some will NOT. The ones who will NOT are described at Ecclesiastes 9; 5,6
I denies the false teaching that EVERYONE who dies will go to heaven.
Basing an answer on a fale ‘premise’ renders the question pointless.
Edith
Actually, all real Christians do believe in the rapture, they just disagree as to when it will occur. At the end of time, or some time before. Here’s some logic for you. Since every single prophecy in the Bible has come true, except for those dealing with the end times, isn’t it a good bet they will come true as well? It is very easy to prove the Bible is supernatural, the amazing prophecy record is just one.
