how do i palletize an item to be shipped? please help?

where can i get an item palletized and what exactly does that mean?
i have heavy machinery that needs to get shipped but first i have to palletize the machines

   put it on a pallet
   it must not hang over the pallet
   secure it down
   it must fit on a pallet

   Put them on a pallet. It’s also best if you can bolt them tothe pallet.
