a friend of mine does not like her fiancee taking a pain pill (he has problems with his back) and drink a beer. I have personally and have other friends that have done it and been fine. when he does this, he does not “drive or operate heavy machinery” but stays at home. she continually gets mad at him for doing it and they end up getting into a huge argument about it (screaming, cussing, throwing things, etc). my opinion is that he’s a grown man and will do what he wants. he’s not taking them because he’s addicted or anything, but simply wants to sleep better. any thoughts on what we can tell her to chill out??
